The Original Caribe Kayak is specifically geared to resorts and rental / tour operations, however, it is also well suited for the individual paddler. The interior of the Caribe can be inexpensively replaced after years of wear, saving the expense of replacing the entire boat. The Caribe offers three types of modular cockpits: (tandem conventional, solo fishing with livewell, solo dive/snorkel version). Because of the caribe's sit in top design, it is well suited to warm-weather paddling. Caribe's patented design offers more than modular design. Caribe takes safety further: by dropping the cockpit lower into the boat, stability is greatly increased, paddler comfort is enhanced, and wave impact is reduced. The original Caribe comes standard with a transparent hull for underwater viewing. The outer rotomolded HDPE part is one big safety float. The color allows for other boaters to see you on the water.
